Legacy Donation
You may designate a specific amount or particular assets, such as stocks, properties, or other possessions, to the Welfare Council when drafting your will.
- Below are the 5 steps for legacy donation:
- 1. Please contact your solicitor to leave a gift in your will.
- 2. Appoint an executor after deciding how to donate.
- 3. Your will, to be drafted by your solicitor, will be signed by you and a witness.
- 4. Inform your relatives about your will.
- 5. Please notify the Welfare Council of your request, so that we can turn your will into action.
Life Insurance Policy Donation
You may designate the Welfare Council as one of the beneficiaries in your life insurance policy, donating all or part of the policy amount.
- Below are the 3 steps for legacy donation:
- 1. Fill in the 'Request for Change Form' to name the Welfare Council as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy and fax back/post it to your insurance company.
- 2. Confirm the 'Request for Change Form' with your insurance company.
- 3. Please notify the Welfare Council of your request, so that we can turn your will into action.
Condolence Donation
The Welfare Council can establish an Online Memorial Page for the deceased, serving as a platform for remembrance and tribute. You may invite friends and family to donate condolence money directly through this memorial page, transforming enduring memories into everlasting blessings.

Additionally, the Welfare Council can provide memorial cards, which you may send physically or electronically to invite your friends and family to scan the QR code, thereby transforming traditional funeral monetary offerings into charitable donations, and thus continuing the legacy of love of the deceased.

- You may donate all or part of the condolence money to the Welfare Council through the following methods:
- 1. Online donation
- 2. Please make payment by crossed cheque payable to 'Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited'.
- 3. Bank Deposit to 'Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited' and return the bank-in slip with the Condolence Gifts Donation Form:

ii . Hang Seng Bank: 024-255-757999-883
iii. Bank of East Asia: 015-514-10-407766-1 - Please send the cheque or bank-in slip with the Condolence Gifts Donation Form to the Corporate Communications & Marketing Department, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited, 12/F, 112 Kennedy Road, Wan Chai, HK.
